EXCHANGEABLE BOND HEADS

8650 – Heavy Wire

• Heavy wire bonding for aluminum wire from 100 up to 500 µm diameter
• Heavy wire bonding for copper wire from 100 up to 300 µm diameter
• Wedge lengths of 50 up to 70 mm even for extreme bonding requirements
• Stitch- or chain bonds of any length

OPTIONAL: EXTENSIBLE TABLE

The extensible bonding-table is available as an alternative to the component holder directly in the b bonding area. This makes loading and unloading large and heavy components outside the machine possible and considerably easier. The generous standard pattern of tapped mounting holes allows a variety of locking options.

In addition, the table can also be installed and rotated by 180° so that the machine can be loaded from the front or the back.

OPTIONAL: CO2-CLEANING

CO₂ snow blasting is the preferred method of removing contamination at the contacts of battery cells

It is gentle to the surface of the cell contacts and can be carried out quickly and easily before each bonding step

The system itself consists of a jet nozzle, the JetBox itself and high-pressure CO₂ gas from a conventional gas tank.
